As the first trucks report to the gates of the distribution center, you review the capacity planning for the coming weeks. Are peaks to be expected? Does production need to be adjusted? You have already foreseen it. Thanks to your sharpness, everything goes according to plan and customer satisfaction is maintained. Do you get energy from structure, overview and result-oriented work in a dynamic environment? Then this is your role.
As Senior Supply Chain Planner, you are the pivot within the flow of goods. You translate forecast data into clear production and inventory plans, manage capacities at maturing and production locations and actively steer for improvements within the supply chain. With your analytical ability and proactive approach, you not only see where things can be improved, you make sure they happen. You maintain close contact with suppliers, production locations and retail service customers to evaluate performance and strengthen cooperation. In addition, you act as back-up for the Control Tower in case of understaffing. No two days are the same, but you keep a cool head and a tight schedule.
