What logistics vacancies are there?

In a logistics job, you are responsible for the flow of goods, for example as a truck driver, logistics employee but of course also as a forklift driver. In essence, it is about getting goods from A to B correctly. During this process it is of course important to monitor quality and prevent loss.

Logistics jobs are diverse and there are plenty of them! For example, you can work as an Order Picker in the warehouse, manage the internal transport of goods as a Forklift Driver or go into the country as a Truck Driver to transport goods. Below are some of our logistics jobs:

 
Logistics Team Leader

As a Logistics Team Leader, you are the captain of the warehouse. You manage your team of warehouse workers, drivers and order pickers and make sure everything runs smoothly.

Forklift driver

As a forklift driver, you move pallets in warehouses and yards, and assist with loading and unloading. With a forklift certificate, you are highly sought after by many logistics companies. 

Order picker

As an order picker you collect orders and make sure they are ready for shipment on time. You keep the warehouse orderly and spot deviations so that everything stays tidy for you and your colleagues.

Warehouse employee

As a warehouse worker, you take care of loading and unloading trucks and putting products in the right place. You can work in stores, factories or distribution centers.

Assembly worker

As an assembly worker, you assemble parts on an assembly line into a complete product. This process, also called final assembly, is the final step in production.

Reach truck driver

As a reach truck driver, you work with a compact truck with a long arm, ideal for narrow aisles and high racking. You are indispensable in warehouses where goods are stored at height.

Deliverer

As a delivery driver or courier, you pick up and deliver packages or mail by car, bus or bicycle. You can work for large logistics companies, web shops or delivery services such as PostNL, DHL, Bol.com or Thuisbezorgd.

Why work in logistics?

Working in logistics is never boring. You're always on the go and from the farthest corners your work has an impact. From preparing orders to taking orders from warehouse to customer. So in logistics you can go in any direction.

Logistics always goes on. 24 hours a day, seven days a week, this keeps running. So it is important that you have a flexible attitude. Thus, most positions are divided into 2,3, 4 or 5 shifts. But there are also vacancies in day shifts. These working hours are listed with the vacancies!

Within the logistics industry, work experience is often more important than a degree. However, certificates are often a plus. Think of a forklift or reach truck driver.
