The machines start up slowly and you make your regular rounds along the production line. You check whether everything is set correctly, build in the right dies and make sure that the production process starts up smoothly. If there is a malfunction, you solve it quickly, and before you know it everything is running at full speed again. In this position, you are the technical hub on the shop floor, where accuracy, overview and cooperation come together.
As an Injection molder, you will be responsible for starting up, converting and adjusting injection molding machines. You independently rebuild molds, adjust production lines and monitor cycle and production times. During process start-up or adjustment, you accurately record material losses and monitor quality.
In case of technical failures, you intervene immediately and solve first-line problems independently. If there is a more complex malfunction, you report it to your supervisor according to the applicable procedures. You work closely with colleagues and coordinate with the shift manager when there are process deviations. Together you ensure that the production process continues to run continuously.
