The machines begin to warm up as your shift starts. You walk your usual round across the production line, check the settings, install the right molds, and ensure everything runs smoothly. If something’s off, you jump in and fix it, before long, production is back up to speed. In this role, you’re the technical heartbeat of the floor, where precision, focus, and teamwork go hand in hand.
As an Process Technician, you are responsible for starting, adjusting, and converting injection molding machines. You independently change molds, set up the machines, and monitor cycle times and production flow. During start-up or adjustments, you accurately record material waste and always keep a close eye on quality standards.
You solve first-line technical malfunctions quickly and independently. If something cannot be fixed right away, you report it following the correct procedures. You stay alert for process deviations and coordinate with the Production Shift Leader when needed. Your focus is on keeping production efficient, stable, and high in quality.
